sand or stone?

Write your Sad times in Sand
Write your Good times in Stone.
--GEORGE BERNARD SHAW

i saw this phase in an forward mail
which makes me think...

be frank,
we know this theory since long time ago
which we should carry out happiness and move forward
left our sad memories behind
but, how many peoples can actually integrate this theory into daily life?
i will say that, it's difficult because memories goes along with us
till the day we are old enough...to forget
and, i am the one who keep my memories with me
as long as i can...

if i were given a choice
i will not write my sad moments on the sand
i will keep the sad moments in the deepest part of my heart
because, the sad and tough moments is a memorable part of my life
the sad moments, the process of passing through it
makes me tough, and strong
but,
i will still write my happy moments on the stone
because, those words on the stone will not fade
isn't the same with our memories
which might get lost someday...unexpectedly, uncontrollable
i wish i could refresh those happy moments i have, always
being a drive in my life...
encouraging me, to move forward...
